  • Work on the client site, via phone or electronically to coordinate, diagnose and troubleshoot incoming employee calls or incident tickets transferred by the ServiceDesk, for our Vienna office

  • Assist employees in case of IT incidents or requests; focus is local, but work cross borders in an international team of colleagues

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues; technically escalate to other teams on a global basis and work together on a solution inside defined SLAs, work with 3rd party vendors and suppliers to fix incidents

  • Advise end users on requesting the right IT equipment for their needs

  • Manage mobile phones, plans and maintain portfolio for local staff

  • Life Cycle Management of Clients (Dell/Lenovo/Apple Laptops) incl. installation, configuration, migrating, retirement

  • Maintain meeting room technical interior, supervise implementations of Audio/Visual state of the art equipment incl. equipment from Cisco, Samsung, Barco

  • System and application monitoring (e.g. local infrastructure of servers, UPS, status of Dev Servers)

  • Planning new integrations in cooperation with other teams and supervising implementations of systems and applications (e.g. local infrastructure of servers, UPS, Cisco network equipment, status of Dev Servers)

  • Stay current with system information by visiting Change Order meetings and be representative for local infrastructure changes and updates

  • Support regionally or globally run initiatives to implement new technologies and processes

  • Work with colleagues on an international basis

  • Support-orientation, friendly attitude, able to manage timely situations

  • Provide highly visible customer support and show empathy to internal customers

  • Build strong relationships with the business across products and product lines

  • Communicate customer needs and expectations to various internal stakeholders (own the voice of the customer)

  • Requirements:*

  • Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment (Windows Server & Windows 7 / 10, Apple macOS, VMware Workstation & Fusion, Cisco Video Conferencing systems, Android / iOS)

  • Ideally you provide knowledge in Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft SCCM Server Management Console, CA Client Automation, Microsoft OneDrive, Linux

  • Excellent German and English language skills

  • Preferred Education: Fachinformatiker, Fachrichtung Systemintegration (Computer Science Expert) with five years work experience or Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in an IT-related discipline

  • Desired, but not a requirement: Industry certifications ITIL Foundation, MCSA, ACMT
