As a Director of Product Management, you will shape the future direction of our products. You will lead, coach and manage a product management team, whose job it is to translate the overall product vision and strategy into a roadmap that the business is willing to fund, and R&D is capable of delivering. You will be focused on the management and development of people and practices for our Agile Operations business unit.

  • About the Director of Product Management:*

  • Communicate CA Technologies’ vision and goals to multiple teams.

o Encourage employees to share feedback on the team, organization, and company via employee opinion surveys and other formal and informal channels; share and respond to feedback as appropriate.

  • Identify goals and tracking metrics to ensure objectives are met and recommend process improvements.

  • Support organizational capacity through staffing, budget/compensation planning, skills development, and acquisition of required tools and technologies.

o Conduct regular succession planning activities for key roles within the Agile organization.

o Manage and approve staff performance and discipline plans.

o Help to attract, recruit, retain, and develop top Product Management talent.

  • Support continuous improvement of Product Management capability. Stay abreast of and share industry/technology trends relevant to the Product Management discipline.

  • Stay focused on evolving customer/market needs leveraging voice of the customer feedback from various sources.

  • How You’ll Stand Out:*

  • Typically, 10 or more years of experience in managing a technology product or service

  • Strong ability to motivate others

  • Good coaching and mentoring skills

  • Ability to easily build new relationships

  • Working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, .Net, API’s

  • Experience in presales and development
