As a Digital Presales Consultant you will be responsible for positioning and proving CA's products and solutions address clients' and partner's business and IT needs. This is accomplished by having a solid understanding of CA's products and solutions within the assigned product group and a solid knowledge of CA's technology strategies in order to articulate their application to customer's and partner's IT practices.

This role will be based in our Prague office with a focus on our Network Monitoring solutions.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Committed to work closely with account teams to accurately understand customer's or partner's issues that are the impetus for them to consider CA's solutions.

  • Collaborate with account team to map CA technology to the customer's business drivers and partner offerings utilizing the CA sales process.

  • Have a passion for presenting product functionality and benefits within identified solution sets that support client's technical and functional requirements as well as partner offerings.

  • Understand and communicate CA's key competitive differentiators, by solution, as defined by CA product groups.

  • Directly assist account teams in achieving financial targets via the opportunity planning process.

  • Assist sales in accurately assessing and forecasting opportunities.

  • Mastery of processes and tools for:

o Proposal Development

o Enablement Plan Execution

o Solution Architecture Overview

o Statement of Work (SOW) Development

o Need-based Sales Methodology

  • REQUIREMENTS*

  • Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Computer Science or related field preferred.

  • Typically 2+ years of IT industry related experience.

  • Knowledge of networking and system concepts, terminology and a general understanding of network technology (LAN/WAN)

  • Familiarity with system administration (UNIX/LINUX/Windows) is a plus

  • An understanding of the fundamentals of network design, router configuration, VLAN distribution, Routing, Switching, MPLS etc.

  • Possess an underlying business acumen or experience in order to demonstrate/explain how CA technology can fulfill the business requirements of customers.

  • Industry certifications (e.g. CCNA, etc.) a benefit

  • Fluent level of English (additional European language a plus).
