CA Technologies Manager, Business Unit Sales in Paris, France

As Sales Manager for CA Automation BU you will be based in CA Paris Office and you will lead, manage and develop a sales team of five Account Executive across French Market.

You will introduce CA Technologies Automation solutions to French Customers and Partners to solve, improve and optimize business challenges.

You will achieve sales revenue targets by planning, executing, monitoring, and directing CA Automation Sales team's performance and resource allocation needs within French Market, drive new business, build customer loyalty, ensure high product retention rates, and support and promote CA Automation strategy and initiatives.

  • Accountable for attaining Revenue components of the annual CA Technologies global plan for CA Automation BU (workload automation; release automation; service orchestration) for French Market.

  • With support from the VP/Director, execute a business plan based on French Automation sales strategy that includes market/vertical strategy, financial strategies, and operating models to grow the business

  • Align resources and continuously assess organizational structure to ensure that team is poised to work innovatively and grow the business

  • Leverage strong customer relationships, consistently collecting feedback on customer needs, market trends, and opportunities for continuous process, product, and solution improvement

  • Build credible, positive, and effective cross-functional working relationships with leaders at all levels of the organization, collaborating to continuously improve CA's ability to work efficiently and drive growth

  • Work in close partnership with French, Partner Sales, and renewal teams

  • Serve as escalation point with support and customer success on customer issues

  • Maintain outside talent pipeline for key successions

  • Analyze operating results of business and take necessary steps to correct shortfalls in performance

  • Actively coach and facilitate growth of sales team by providing continuous feedback, demanding accountability, and creating opportunities for growth and visibility


Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in Business or Engineering preferred.

Advanced degree in a related field is preferred.

Typically 5 years of experience in the IT or related industry with a focus on Solution Sales activities. Proven track record of effectively and successfully managing a large, geographically dispersed sales team a plus.

We select candidates with preferable Sales team experience in Enterprise Software business in French Customer and Partner Sales Market. .

* * Effective Communication:* Deliver outstanding oral and written communications that are impactful and persuasive with their intended audience.

* * Industry Knowledge:* Possess in-depth knowledge of a given industry and relevant marketplace; can speak with authority, e.g., on industry trends, best practices, competitive practices, regulatory issues, etc.

* * Effective Selling: *Ensure staff utilizes solutions-oriented, systematic approach to selling, leveraging mastery of sales best practices and CA's sales methodology.

* * Business Acumen: *Understand key aspects of business, e.g., business models and competitive positioning; also understand how business operates, including role of structure, systems, and processes; can speak in business language when applying professional expertise.

* * Financial Acumen: *Use in-depth financial analysis to make decisions, evaluate opportunities and choices; know how financial decisions impact business success
