  • Job Overview*

This position is responsible for the technical knowledge, understanding, application and implementation of the CA Privileged Access Manager (CA PAM) solution based on architecture and design documents provided by the Solution Architect and Project Manager within the client environment.

  • Key Responsibilities*

  • Understand how the CA Services organization functions, the different roles within the organization, and how CA Services contributes to customer success and the larger success of CA. Understand how the services security team fits into the larger Security BU, as a matrixed organization.

  • Learn how to implement one CA solution (CA PAM) and understand the key business issues addressed by this solution (how it contributes to customer success).

  • Leverage the knowledge gained about the CA PAM solution to assist in customer engagements involving the CA PAM solution. Travel onsite and work with project team members as needed to deploy CA PAM. Track success and provide feedback on the engagement.

  • Effectively troubleshoot technical product implementation issues for technology/solution area.

  • Ability to interact with Support to open and track product issues when necessary.

  • Actively engage as part of the project team with the purpose of contributing product knowledge and to learn the various components required to deliver a successful client engagement, following the Project Manager or Architect directive.

  • Applies basic problem-solving techniques to address common implementation problems.

  • Adhere to Time and Expense Policy.

  • Adhere to company policies of Code of Conduct/Ethics; Security and required training.

  • Business Travel and Physical Demands*

Business travel of approximately 35-40% is expected for this position.

  • Preferred Education*

Working toward a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Computer Science or business-related field.

  • Work Experience*

Typically 0 years of work experience is required for this position. Prefer knowledge or experience in software/hardware and administration of systems.

  • Skills & Competencies*

  • Can describe each role in the CA Services at a basic level and articulate how it fits into the organization

  • Can describe (high-level) the key solutions offered by the Security Business Unit (BU) and how they benefit customers. Also, how CA Services works with sales and contributes to overall success of the Security BU.

  • Demonstrate ability to engage in hands-on implementation of software technology.

  • Certifications*

  • Within first week, complete New Hire training.

  • Within 5 weeks must complete CA PAM product training and practice implanting the solution in a lab environment as agreed to by your Coach/Mentor.
