Our Sales Development Representatives are high-energy and self-motivated. This is a critical role for both sales and marketing and acts as a conduit between the lead generation programs from marketing to the sales team.
Using excellent phone, email and social/digital skills combined with the ability to quickly qualify customer opportunities, this individual will drive the lead qualification engine and work closely with the sales organization.
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for building sales volume by uncovering, developing, and qualifying sales meetings with prospective buyers in target markets in United Kingdom and Ireland, BENELUX and Scandinavia; then will work with the sales team to progress the opportunity through the pipeline to close. We are looking for professionals with strong organizational and follow-up skills who have the ability to work in a team environment.
Sales Development Representatives generate new business opportunities by strategically identifying, engaging and developing relationships with companies that display product fit. Generate new business opportunities from both incoming leads and targeted account based outbound selling.
Provide sales support for the field sales team by effectively manage your lead pipeline and develop a strategy for long-term sustained success
Building prospect lists and executing follow-up processes on them while adhering to Automic/CA’s selling processes, practices and rules of engagement
Qualifying prospects in accordance with sales process, determining project timeframe, key contacts and funding sources
Data entry of prospect and contact data in CRM database
Providing feedback to management on effectiveness of outbound phone and email campaigns
Present and articulate CA’s Automation product features, value propositions and benefits
Support and drive attendance to local and national marketing events
Experience with inside sales or similar preferred, not required
Sales experience over the phone or impeccable phone presence
Understanding of Social Media for business (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to travel up to 15% plus one to two international trips per year
Experience of prospecting and or selling enterprise software is preferred
Demonstrated strong leadership abilities
Adaptable to a fast paced and changing environment
Strong time management, organizational and presentation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to understand IT related technologies in large organizations with a strong interest and understanding of new technologies
