This position is responsible for providing marketing operations support for several of the following categories: financial analysis, budget management, marketing systems and processes, marketing efficiency and effectiveness improvements, and competitive benchmarking of marketing best practices for implementation on a global basis.
This position is responsible for the development, implementation, management, training and enforcement of a specific Marketing process and/or System. May also include Regional reporting and budget management at an Area/Country level.

- About the Role*
In this role, you’ll help support CA Technologies charter to transform the IT industry. You will responsible to:
Define, implement and deploy key marketing system for budget management.
Lead in annual planning process, interfacing with Finance on behalf of Marketing, Operations and Marketing itself to design the backend system to reflect our GTM approach. Provide analysis of marketing spend.
Develop, streamline and improve marketing processes and reporting in the field e.g. for management and processing of MDF for partners.
Track marketing spend against variable budget. Provide reports to management. Recommend remediation as necessary.
Determine levels of marketing efficiency, effectiveness and return on investment, and make recommendations for improvement.
Provide narrative and insight for marketing metrics within scope of responsibility. Interpret results cross-marketing function and organization to provide a narrative on business results, and identify areas of effectiveness.
Ensure all operational activities are effectively aligned with sales and consistent with all other marketing areas and activities.
Determine levels of marketing efficiency, effectiveness and return on investment, and make recommendations for improvement at an Area or Country level.
Track Area/Country marketing spend against variable budget.
How You’ll Stand Out*:
The perfect candidate for this role will have a demonstrated record of success in positions of increasing responsibility over the course of their career. She/he will have an outstanding track record and reputation for being proactive, assertive and detail oriented. An ideal background will include:
Typically, 7 years’ experience preferably in a high-tech environment.
Experience in a matrixed organizational reporting structure preferred. Familiarity with budget management tools such as Allocadia, Hive 9, Anaplan a plus.
Skills & Competencies*
Subject matter knowledge in Finance, Budgeting, Project management etc.
Understands marketing financial management systems such as Allocadia, Hive 9, Anaplan
Technical aptitude – understands data structures, APIs; used to working with IT in the back end’
Familiar with MDF practices, process and management
Customer-centric focus on understanding and translating the needs of the customer to match internal business goals and objectives.
Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration with an emphasis on building solid working relationships.
Knowledge of CA's corporate goals and objectives, markets, competitors, positioning and offerings
Ability to listen, solve problems, maintain flexibility and meet deadlines
Strong analytical and project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication, Action and results oriented; problem solver,
Maintains a proactive approach to resolving content and or business issues.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with employees
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SFDC
Independent and highly collaborative, willing to reach out to get support as required
