- About the Sr Business Tech Architect:*
In this role, you’ll help support CA Technologies charter to transform the IT industry by:
Maintaining a trusted and influential relationship with the technical decision-making and decision-influencing customer contacts (including the CIO or CTO). Focus on the value brought to the customer by the strategic partnership they have with CA.
Providing a technical perspective and guidance for the customer's business executive level contacts. This is achieved through a combination of broad real-world IT industry experience; domain expertise and industry recognized certifications.
Being perceived by the customer as /both/ customer centric and solutions oriented, bringing tangible value in terms of industry/technical experience, knowledge, and expertise. Be a trusted advisor and thought leader propelling them forward in their industry.
Pursuing revenue opportunities while balancing the risk to CA.
How You’ll Stand Out:*
The perfect candidate for this role will have a demonstrated record of success in positions of increasing responsibility over the course of their career. She/he will have an outstanding track record and reputation for successfully building and maintain relationships with clients throughout the New York area. Above all, they will be driven and motivated to drive sales and contribute towards CA’s continued success. An ideal background will include:
10+ years of increasing responsibility as technology advisor.
Proven ability to handle escalated situations and brings challenging technical problems to a satisfactory resolution.
Expertise and knowledge of DevOps, Security, Continuous Delivery, Integration, Deployment, and Release on Demand solutions.
Knowledge of open source and cloud business cases.
Ability to interface with customer onsite both at a technical and executive level. Face to face interaction and executive presence is a key to this role.
Proven comprehension of solutions and how they are designed to be integrated into the customer environment
Extensive troubleshooting skills of solutions and integrations
Demonstrate creative problem solving and decision making to address complicated business problems
Ability to develop and mentor Architects
