The ideal candidate is a big picture, enterprise focused, solution driven experienced Presales Consultant with a special focus on Job Scheduling Business Service Orchestration and DevOps.

We are growing and need to add to our stellar Presales team in the Americas. We are looking for exceptional people would want to contribute to defining this market, being innovative and sharing their passion and domain expertise for Automation.
This individual will be expected to deliver world-class solution demonstrations of the Automic Platform to technical and non-technical audiences, at executive and or technical levels, and at both pre and post sales meetings. You must be able to articulate the business and technical value proposition and key differentiating capabilities to prospective new customers and solutions partners as well as Lead architecture design discussions and recommend an appropriate combinations of technical solutions for production deployment(s) as you collaborate with Account Managers to ensure all aspects of the sale are aligned. We want Presales leaders experienced in cultivating relationships, sparking innovation, and assisting with driving significant revenue through your thought leadership and our unique Automation Platform.
Qualified individuals will possess IT presales experience performing the activities below:
Customer demonstrations and presentations
Coordinating and managing technical validation events of Automic products with our prospects
Own pre-sales technical account managment at prospective customers
Become an Automation expert on our solutions as well as the market space we focus on
Actively research and discuss competitive information in the marketplace with the sales team and prospects
Partnering with our Product Management & Development on influencing direction of our solutions
Ensuring total customer satisfaction with the Automic's customer's experience
Participating in conferences, shows, exhibitions when appropriate and requested
Contribute to and refine Technical RFP/RFI responses
Understand and appreciate the value both Automation & DevOps brings to an organization
Experience in software development or IT operations
A deep understanding of Agile, DevOps and Continuous Delivery in both theory and practice
Have a Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or closely related field
Possess working knowledge of common operating systems (Linux, Windows, etc.)
Understand common shell scripting languages, including powershell
Have good communication skills; including the ability to clearly articulate and differentiate Automic’s offerings
Must be willing to travel and sometimes on very short notice
Understand IT areas such as:
o Application Release (DevOps) & Application Development
o Cloud technologies
o Application Servers including JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat
o ERP Systems (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, etc.)
o Applications such as Oracle Retail, Informatica, Siebel, Hyperion, Business Objects
o Experience with workload automation and job scheduling software
