The Business Development and Capture Manager will lead efforts within the US SLED marketplace to identify new opportunities, qualify opportunities, grow current pipeline, execute the growth strategy, and convert leads into opportunities and ultimately revenue generating programs and projects. This role will be responsible for the entire business development lifecycle from lead to order while working with direct sales organizations. A successful candidate must take a leadership role when it comes to developing new business and moving opportunities through the pursuit and sales lifecycle.

  • About the Partner Account Director:*

In this role, you’ll help support CA Technologies charter to transform the IT industry within the US SLED market by:

  • Research prospective large technology based programs within the defined SLED market place.

  • Identify, prioritize and pursue partnering arrangements that result in successful teaming arrangement with relevant partners.

  • Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract potential partnering arrangements that drive licensing revenue.

  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to ensure that requirements are aligned with CA solution areas.

  • Maintain relationships with current partners and identify new prospects within the SLED market.

  • Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning

  • Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors

  • 7+ years’ experience in direct sales working with enterprise software products or services

  • Proven results in the disciplines necessary to build a healthy and growing Partner Ecosystem

  • Demonstrated ability to assess customer requirements, identify business problems, and demonstrate proposed solutions C-level high ‘touch-sales’ experience will be looked upon favorably
