  • Digital Customer Engagement Program Manager*

CA Veracode helps customers secure the software running in their environment. CA Veracode’s Saas platform and integrated solutions help security teams and software developers find and fix security-related defects at all points in the software development lifecycle. Part of this integrated solution is enabling collaboration of application security best practices with CA Veracode and among the Community of developers and security practitioners, providing a single digital experience. The CA Veracode Community and Verified programs is part of this digital experience.

The CA Veracode Community is the vehicle which enables the collaboration within this single digital experience and the CA Veracode Verified program certifies the security which customers have built into the development of their software. The Digital Customer Engagement Program Manager role is responsible for managing the daily activities of both programs.

Key activities for this person will be:

  • Monitor daily posts within the CA Veracode Community, including (but not limited to) questions/comments to ensure responses are provided in a timely manner, moderation rules are effective, etc.

  • Manage Community dashboard including identifying the appropriate metrics useful for various internal and external audiences

  • Develop a calendar of content to ensure regular updates to the Community

  • Manage Verified program fulfillment process

  • Work with Security Program Managers and Sales teams to drive the number of Verified customers listed in the Verified Directory

  • Develop the Community Champion program to drive activity in the Community

  • Work with the Customer Engagement Director to develop and manage Community & Verified roadmap; work with Salesforce admin team to prioritize feature improvements

This role is a strategic position within Veracode. Creation of an ecosystem of software developers, risk managers and security professionals around application security is a vital part of our ability to fulfil our mission and grow our business.

Skills and Experience

The right person for this role will be someone who is a natural collaborator and connector of people. An operational capability to build organizational structures such as user groups, online communities and/or outreach programs is a plus. An interest in advancing the cause of information security is important, to connect effectively inside and outside CA Veracode. This person must be comfortable working with both technical and business audiences.

  • Working knowledge of (or demonstrated ability to learn) the most popular tools for online community building and operations.

  • Product Marketing expereince within the software industry

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally, with technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience in communications (related to audience outreach, customer loyalty, and educational purposes).

  • Comfort with technology and technology-related topics such as information security and software development.

This role will have the opportunity to working with the senior leadership of CA Veracode, both to propose strategies and to report on progress and requirements. There will be opportunities to present at company-wide as well as in smaller meetings to educate the business on Customer Engagement strategies and requirements.
