  • Job Description*

The Partner Account Director will provide strong leadership and help drive new sales revenue to CA. Your primary responsibilities will be focused on the following:

  • Creation and execution of partner go-to-market strategy

  • Driving meaningful partner enablement

  • Creation and execution of annual partner business plans designed to achieve revenue targets and mutual success

  • Development of joint demand generation programs with partners and CA marketing and product management teams

  • Field account planning and alignment

  • Capturing and creating mindshare both internally at CA and in the field with partner sales and technical teams

Partner Account Directors will be playing the “quarterback” role for the overall development of their assigned partners. This is a high energy position requiring an individual to be extremely motivated and results-driven; it will also require someone who is equally comfortable working in a strategic and tactical capacity. As a member of the Channel sales team, you will be a self-starter and possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, and intense enthusiasm. A proven track record of success with the leading players in the channel space, exemplary sales skills, vision and patience, are all critical factors to successfully supporting the exponential growth of the company anticipated over the coming years.

_ Additional Position Responsibilities:_

  • Manage all partner activities both nationally and aligned to the region defined by the territory plan and align with the Regional Sales Directors to drive partner strategy and execute a mutually agreed upon plan. This requires a strong team work and leadership qualities.

  • Manage weekly partner forecasts within respective territory and report back to Channels Vice President to ensure goals are met

  • Achieve key business goals, manage partner contracts and quota negotiations and ensure minimum sales/technical certification and performance levels are met.

_ Position Qualifications:_

Strong channel background and experience in building and leveraging channel partners. Can influence and drive a channel-focused business.

  • 6-10+ years technology vendor experience (preferably in enterprise selling, Security, APIs, and/or DevOps) selling into the channel space.

  • Track record of building and executing strategies to build best in class channel partner programs based on quantitative and qualitative market opportunity assessment.

  • Ability to build relationships and influence cross functionally; experience negotiating licensing contracts, coordinating and leading executive level sales meetings and implementing quarterly business plans.

  • Great relationship skills, tenacity, resilience and inter-personal/presentation skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and set priorities.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
