The Account Manager is responsible for positively impacting the relative attributes to the account including customer satisfaction, NCV growth, share of wallet and the successful introduction of new solutions. This position requires a thorough understanding of the clients' business and the industry in which they compete, the corresponding IT initiatives, identifying needs which CA can help resolve, developing compelling business value proposals for our solutions and ultimately closing business. This position also possesses a trusted relationship with the C-suite, senior level decision makers, and other key buyers within the assigned account(s).

In this role, you’ll help support CA Technologies charter to transform the IT industry by:*
Have a passion for developing compelling business value proposals for our solutions and ultimately closing business.
Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the customer's business and its competitive landscape.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key executives and decision makers.
Provide feedback to appropriate CA parties on product enhancements or services that would be beneficial to the customer and potentially generate additional revenue.
Collaborate with your internal network and lead the appropriate technical resources to demonstrate CA Technologies' advantages to the customer.
Be committed to demonstrate thought leadership and expertise to the customer.
Understand and navigate the customer's buying process.
Lead account reviews and customer satisfaction survey processes to assess overall client satisfaction.

The perfect candidate for this role will have a demonstrated record of success in positions of increasing responsibility over the course of their career. She/he will have an outstanding track record and reputation for being proactive, assertive and detail oriented. An ideal background will include:
An in-depth understanding of technology concerns and the ability to quickly become knowledgeable on our competitor's overall technology strategy and product solutions is necessary.
Experience working with customers, sales personnel, as well as a good understanding of the industry disciplines, technologies and applications relevant to CA products is required.
An underlying sound business acumen or experience in order to demonstrate how CA Technologies can fulfill the business requirements of customers is important.
Typically, may have a Bachelor Degree or global equivalent experience in an IT, business or sales related field
Business travel of approximately 50 percent yearly is expected for this position.
Typically, 5 or more years of software sales experience with a proven track record of success in managing and growing large-company accounts.
