As a* Principal Instructor – CA Service Virtualization* at Bangalore for the business unit “corporate sales GPO “team” in India which is focused on leading GSI/ GSP partners based in India and spread around the world. Our focus is to train DevOps solutions (Service Virtualization) to our GSI/GSP partners to leverage CA Technologies CICD products to provide best in class, comprehensive IT related services to thousands of companies around the globe and help build reference architectures to deliver superior, agile results to their enterprise clients.

This position is responsible for delivering expert technical/ implementation level training in CA Service Virtualization product offering to GSI/ GSP partners. Should have an excellent knowledge and implementation skills on CA Service Virtualization, with this rich experience should be able to provide partner resources the knowledge on the tool as well as on the challenges and integrities during implementation. This will enable the partners for successful implementation with increase in the NPS for CA.

The perfect candidate for this role will have a demonstrated record of success in positions of increasing responsibility over the course of their career. An ideal background will include:

  • Implementation Level training to GSI/GSP focus partner implementation teams.

o Installation and Administration of the Solution

o Configuration of the Solution

o Integration with CA Solution and non-CA Solutions

  • Assisting partner teams to implement vertical based use cases using CA Solutions by understanding the requirements from the teams

  • Assist CA teams on the architectures designs (HLD & LLD) and use cases scenarios.

  • Should keep updated on the new technologies and competitors

  • The level of feedback from the partner teams should be high (score of 9 out of 10)

  • Assist driving relevant technical messaging into GSI/ GSP focus partners to drive services pipeline

  • Perceived by partner as CA Service Virtualization expert in building an implementation level certified resources within the partner community.

  • Provide business insight and CA Service Virtualization technical expertise to industry solutions/ customer engagements for partners

  • Offer technical insight on successes and failures relative to the customer's industry objectives

  • Assist GAD's in attaining the enablement targets on sales/ presales/ implementation certification for partners

  • Define business solutions that address customer requirements leveraging the value of CA Technologies solutions

  • Assist with resolution of critical business and technical issues affecting the client

  • Participate in the leadership of the technical services component of cross-CSU solution opportunity of a strategic nature

  • Provide resolutions on complex technical issues associated with specific partner projects

  • Work Experience and Skills & Competencies;*

  • Professional with 15+ years of experience in DevOps domain with CICD portfolio of CA Service Virtualization products implementation, consulting & advocacy to client in designing & implementing of DevOps solutions.

Deployment Mgmt. tools – Jenkins, Chef & Puppet

Configuration Management tools

  • Domain Skills – CICD portfolio of products, Content Analysis, Enterprise Software Integration, Release Automation, Deployment Mgmt. tools, Configuration Management tools & DevOps Policies, Regulatory Compliance framework experience.

  • Programming Skills - C, VC++, C#, VB, JMeter scripting, Java, Python, C#, Perl, PHP, Java, ASP, JavaScript, WSH, DOS, UNIX shell scripting

  • Database Skills - MS SQL 2008/2005/2000, Oracle, MS Access

  • Effective communicator with good relationship management skills with the ability to relate to people at any level of business and management.

  • Knowledge on protocols & Technologies - DevOps

  • Secondary Skills (Good to have skills)*

  • Conceptualizing IT Governance & DevOps Practices including ensuring alignment of IT with business requirements, cost benefit analysis for all major IT investments

  • Certifications like CoBIT, TOGAF 8 Certification

  • Knowledge on other testings solutions like Test Management tools, Load Testing tools, Performance Testing tools, Automated Testing tools, Defect Tracking tools, Mobile Testing tools, Cross-browser Testing tools, API Testing tools & Security Testing tools. etc…

  • Knowledge on other EMS products

  • Skills & Competencies*

  • Good presentation skills.

  • Strong writing skills.

  • Ability to communicate the cross functional value propositions within our aggregate portfolio of solutions.

  • Able to align and articulate capabilities as they relate to business priorities and goals, increasing business and strategic relevance.

  • Technical knowledge across the industry and awareness of industry direction.

  • Wide implementation experience in CA Service Virtualization & enterprise DevOps solutions to Global Fortune 500 clients.

  • Preferred Education:*

  • Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in a related field

  • Business Travel and Physical Demands:*

  • Business travel of approximately 35 percent yearly is expected for this position
